Privacy Policy for Timgu App

This Privacy Policy explains how Timgu Ltd. (“Timgu”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use Timgu App, including when you connect or use the app through Meta products such as Facebook or Instagram, or through Google products such as Google Ads or Google Analytics (collectively, the “Services”).

Please read this policy carefully. By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described below. If you do not agree with this policy, do not use the Services or connect a Meta or Google account to them.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, information created when you use the Services, and information made available to us when you choose to connect a Meta or Google account.

We collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate the particular features you choose to use. The precise Meta Platform data and Google user data fields available to the Services depend on the permissions or scopes you grant, your account settings, and the APIs or products you connect.

2. How We Use Information

We use information we collect for the following purposes:

We will process Meta Platform data only as described in this Privacy Policy, for the purposes you have authorized, and as permitted by applicable law and Meta’s applicable platform terms and policies.1

Timgu App’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.3

3. Meta Platform Data and Permissions

If you connect a Facebook, Instagram, or other Meta account to the Services, Meta may provide us with information through its APIs after you grant the relevant permission(s). We use that information only to provide and support the requested feature of Timgu App.

Timgu App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta unless we explicitly state otherwise. Your use of Meta products remains subject to Meta’s own terms and privacy policy.

When you connect a Facebook Page, an Instagram professional account, or a Meta ad account, Timgu App uses only the permissions you approve, and only for the reporting, publishing, messaging, and lead-handling functions described below. We do not request or use permissions that are not needed for those functions.

You can review and revoke these permissions at any time from your Meta business settings or from the connected-account controls in the Services.

3A. Google User Data and OAuth Scopes

If you sign in with Google or connect a Google Ads account or a Google Analytics property to the Services, Google provides us with information through its APIs after you grant the relevant scope(s). We use that information only to provide and support the requested feature of Timgu App.

Timgu App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Your use of Google products remains subject to Google’s own terms and privacy policy.4

Timgu App requests only the scopes below, and only for the reporting, analysis, and campaign-management functions described. We do not request or use scopes that are not needed for those functions.

In line with the Limited Use requirements, we use Google user data only to provide or improve the user-facing features of Timgu App that you have asked for. We do not transfer it to third parties except to provide those features with your consent, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets after obtaining your explicit prior consent. We do not allow humans to read it unless you have given us your affirmative agreement, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data is aggregated for internal operations. We do not use or transfer Google user data to serve advertisements, including retargeting or personalised advertising, and we do not sell it.

You can review and revoke these scopes at any time from your Google Account permissions page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions or from the connected-account controls in the Services.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information only in the following circumstances:

We do not sell personal information, Meta Platform data, or Google user data. We do not use Meta Platform data or Google user data to create or augment user profiles for advertising.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, satisfy the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain appropriate business and security records.

We retain active account information while your account remains open. We delete or de-identify Meta Platform data and Google user data within 90 days after it is no longer needed for the feature for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required by law or necessary to protect the security and integrity of the Services.

When we delete information, we take reasonable steps to remove it from active systems. Limited copies may remain in backups for a short period before being overwritten, and we may retain information where required or permitted by law.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and the nature of your interaction with us, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where our processing relies on consent.

You can disconnect Timgu App from your Meta account through the connected-account controls in the Services and/or through Meta’s app and website settings, and from your Google account through the same controls and/or your Google Account permissions page. Disconnecting an account may stop future access but may not automatically delete data already stored by us; you may use the deletion process below to request deletion.

To exercise privacy rights, contact us at info@timgu.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

7. Requesting Deletion of Your Data

You may request deletion of personal information, Meta Platform data, and Google user data associated with your use of Timgu App at any time.

To request deletion, email info@timgu.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include:

  1. Your name and the email address associated with Timgu App, if applicable;
  2. The Meta account, Facebook Page, Instagram account, Google account, Google Ads customer ID, or Google Analytics property associated with the request, if applicable; and
  3. A clear statement that you want your data deleted.

You may also submit a request through https://timgu.com/contact.

We will verify the request where appropriate, delete information that we are required or able to delete, and notify you when the request is completed. We may retain limited information when necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, or maintain security. Meta’s Platform Terms require a privacy policy to explain how users can request deletion and make that right available to all users who can access the app.1

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, least-privilege practices, encryption in transit, system monitoring, and vendor controls where appropriate.

No system or transmission method is completely secure. You should use strong, unique credentials and protect access to your accounts.

9. International Data Transfers

Timgu may process or store information in the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, and the United States, and in other locations where we or our service providers operate. Those locations may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws of your jurisdiction. Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@timgu.com so we can take appropriate action.

11. Third-Party Services

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party services, including Meta and Google products. This Privacy Policy does not govern the privacy practices of third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those services, including Meta’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy, before providing information or connecting your account.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law, such as by posting the updated policy, updating the “Last updated” date, sending an in-app notice, or emailing you. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of an updated policy is subject to the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
